Wedding Toastmaster If you were to look at some of the dictonary definitions of "toastmaster" in general you will find statements describing someone who proposes toasts and introduces speakers at a banquet. Whilst this is not incorrect it underplays the role somewhat, and doesn't fully highlight all the duties which a professional wedding toastmaster might undertake during your big day. Conversely to the underplayed definition provided by the dictionary, Wikipedia describes a wedding toastmaster as the person actually "in charge" of the proceedings. Following this theme they go on to explain how the toastmaster is someone who organises the event, arranging and co-ordinating any other speakers, introducing them and ensuring the wedding runs smoothly and on time. Andrew is a member of The English Toastmaster Association and as such fulfils his duties with a high level of excellence and professionalism. The Association see themselves as fulfilling the Wikipedia definition of toastmasters explaining how their aim is to make sure an event is a well managed function, as opposed to someone simply proposing a toast. There is a code of ethics which all members of the Association must abide by which Andrew has listed here on his site. A wedding toastmaster such as Andrew can tailor his services to match the occasion, as arranged via an informal meeting before the wedding day. A toastmaster is essentially a Personal Assistant to the Bride and Bridegroom and will ensure that your special day runs without hitch and with it's own unique style.
