Kent Toastmaster
Grateful for Glossophobia Perhaps I am being a little unkind to myself and my fellow Masters of Ceremony; there is a great deal of thought and skill involved in delivering the right speech at a wedding or other private function. The ability to speak in public does require certain innate qualities, but it can be broken down and studied as a science in order to find out how one can be more effective in achieving the aims of the speech. Most of the time the main aim is to be entertaining, which can be difficult when addressing an audience made up of different ages and backgrounds. My training and experience are what guide me. As well as being a wedding toastmaster throughout Kent and the surrounding counties my work also takes me to Dinner Dances, Banquets, Corporate Events, Product Launches, Award ceremonies and Summer Balls. I am used to adapting my approach and style to match the event and it certainly ensures every day, and each event is different. Variety is the spice of life after all!
